Malhar Kulkarni is a Professor of Sanskrit at IIT Bombay. He is credited for creation of Sanskrit Wordnet, an online multipurpose lexicon of Sanskrit, together with Professor Pushpak Bhattacharyya. Recently, they have also created Proverb Net. 13 students have obtained Ph.D. and 7 more are pursuing their Ph.D. work under his supervision. He has more than 100 articles and 7 books published to his credit.
