Dr.Shridhar Lohokare is a scholar who has completed his education in traditional methods and also in Modern methods of education. Along with his degree of PhD in Mimansa, he also has learned Nyayashastra and mimansastra traditionally for 3 and 7 years respectively. He has participated in the वाक्यार्थसभा at सुब्रह्मण्य अर्श विद्यापरिषद्, पुणे and वेदभवन, हैदराबाद. He is awarded with मीमांसारत्न पुरस्कार given by श्री कांची वेदवेदांत शास्त्रसभा , मनोरमा पुरस्कार in शलाकापरीक्षा conducted by संस्कृतभारती, Delhi and many more awards. Deccan College is proud to have a scholar like him working in the Lexicographical project to keep the tradition of Shastris alive.
