Prof. Dr. Vinaya Kshirsagar has completed her Masters in Sanskrit, Pali and Linguistics. While working on her PhD in Sanskrit on the topic ‘Shanti rituals in the Atharvanic tradition’, She is a ‘Bhashabhijna’ from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune and ‘Kavyakovid’ from Vedashatrottejak Sabha. She has also done a certificate course in German language and computational linguistics.She retired as the Professor of Sanskrit, Head of the Department of Sanskrit and Lexicography and Joint General editor of the Lexicographical project from the Lexicographical project at Deccan College. Pune.
