Short Profile:
Dr.Pradnya Deshpande is working in The Lexicographical project at Deccan College for last 26 years. She is a grammarian and has also done masters in Linguistics. She has taught grammar at different institutes like TMV, SPPU, SP college, American Institute of Indian studies and also taught on different online and offline platforms. She is awarded with the prestigious Pt. Satavalekar award and gold medal and prizes for standing first in both her master courses- Sanskrit and Linguistics.
She is a research Guide and has guided many MA, MPhil and PhD students. More than 20 articles are to her credit. She will be speaking today on the basic common principles of classical lexicons.
