Dr. Shreenand Lakshman Bapat is presently working as a Registrar and curator at Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Pune. He also works as the managing editor of the Annals of the BORI and guest lecturer at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, and Chanakya Mandal Pariwar. He holds Masters degree in two disciplines, Sanskrit and Ancient Indian History , culture and Archeoloy and a PhD in Sanskrit. 48 research papers,8 edited books and 2 books are to his credit. He has discovered and deciphered 16 copper plates and 2 stone inscriptions. He has delivered many lectures which includes the one delivered at An international workshop on Sanskrit Prosody conducted at Bucharest, Romania (2012).
